The Cinema closed in 1967, and the building was then used as a Bingo hall until closure in 2009, following which it remained closed until 2013 and it's conversion by the current owners.

      A canal-side pub rumoured to originally have been built around 1105 and holding a licence to serve ale since 1248, which would make it one of the oldest pub sites in the country, although the current building is largely 18th century. Traditionally styled, it still retains features like exposed beams, bench seating and an open fire in the bar. The handpumps are in a line along the wall resulting in it being known locally as 'the pub with no bar'. It has a historic pub interior of national importance for this reason, and also for the historic fittings and tiled floors. Popular with walkers, cyclists and dog owners, it is situated next to a country park and nature reserve. Although a little off the beaten track, the pub is well worth a visit.

      A traditional homely and very welcoming pub converted from 17th century cottages about 200 years ago. The public bar has a solid fuel wood burner and original wooden beams, heavily decorated with pump clips. There are two small TVs for sporting events, though these often have the sound turned down to allow conversation or may be tuned to Music TV with a low volume. The quieter lounge has been tastefully refurbished, has its own bar and a warming coal-effect gas fire. A rear room caters for functions and beer festivals and has a pool table, darts board and large screen TV for sports events, and is served via a hatch from the main bar. Children are welcome in the rear room until 9pm. Various events are held; Monday nights host an in-pub cribbage competition, a charity vinyl night is held on a Wednesday once a month (dig out your own LPs or singles and book a slot), and a quiz every other Wednesday. Traditional bar snacks, cobs and pork pies are available. There is a beer garden at the rear of the pub with several tables on slabbed and grassed areas.       At the top of the Walsall market, the old Royal Exchange pub was incorporated into an adjoining Salvation Army hostel and former leather works in 1995. It now forms the luxurious Lyndon House Hotel. The comfortable bar has a coal-effect fire, an island counter, cosy corners and plenty of exposed wood and brick giving it a traditional feel. With the dining room and outdoor terraces, it is unexpectedly spacious. Four cask beers are available on the bar including a changing beer, often from local breweries Green Duck or Holden's. Meals are served every lunchtime and evening, except on Sundays when there is a lunchtime carvery. Lunchtime hot club sandwiches are good value. Karaoke provides entertainment on Sunday evenings.

      This is one of the few pubs from where CAMRA was launched nationally in 1972, driven by early campaigner the late Peter Linley. In that same year, Walsall CAMRA was formed with an initial brief to cover the country from here north to John O'Groats. On the edge of town, this is a real back-street gem dating from 1845. The pub takes its name from the coloured glazed bricks on the front. The pub has a front bar with a warm, convivial atmosphere and the snug-style lounge has a more intimate feel. Both rooms feature real fires. There is an upstairs function room and a smoking area in the rear courtyard. Folk and poetry nights are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month.
